Agent Cooper decides to let Emma and Travis work the current case, but no one could know. He gets into Emma’s head and talks to her about escaping from her capture. He is extremely intelligent and kind of plays with the people around him. That and he talks about his twin, Kristin. Simon gets under her skin and he starts talking about the killer from the current case. Then Emma goes in solo to interview Simon Gutmunsson. The kids do an interview and they get answers. They won’t open up to the FBI, so he thinks they might with someone their age. He’s working on a current case, but he wants to have two young people that can work under him to interview teens that are killers. Agent Cooper works for the FBI at Quantico. Sadly, his dad was killed by a serial killer in a hostage situation. Travis wants to be in law enforcement like his dad. Emma survived being taken by a serial killer and is in college studying psychology. None Shall Sleep takes place in the early 80’s. The pacing was great through the whole book. I really loved this! It was the perfect October read, too.
